Did you know that Socrates himself never wrote a thing!
He gave lessons everywhere in the city but did not get paid. The Athenians considered his teaching disturbed the young and as a result, he
was taken to court.
He was imprisoned and he did not try or want to escape, though he had the chance.
The Athenians condemned him to death. Socrates accepted the charge, drank hemlock (poison) and dies. But in history, he lives on.
