Poqa olive oil
By reading the word po-qa on Linear B plaques, we reach to the conclusion that ancient people
used olive oil in everyday life, like the religious ceremonies and trade and crafts (perfumery, tanning, weaving etc.). For the first time, a clear distinction is made among the olive tree, the olive oil and the olive fruit, attributed with a three petal flower. Scribes of the time used, therefore, three different ideograms, one of which is our company’s logo.
